Mitsuhiko Masegi is a member of the Board of Directors and a senior executive director of DENSO Corporation in Kariya, Aichi, Japan. He oversees the Information & Safety Systems Business Group at DENSO Corporation.

Masegi joined DENSO Corporation (formerly Nippondenso Co., Ltd.) in 1978 after graduating with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics and a master's degree in Engineering from Nagoya University in Nagoya, Japan. Masegi went to work in the Electronics Department, where he developed a new airbag electronic control unit (ECU), which helped to establish DENSO's current airbag business.

In January 1999, Masegi was named director of Safety & Chassis Systems Engineering Department 3. There, he was responsible for development and design of airbag ECUs and sensors. His work helped DENSO's airbag business to grow and become profitable.

Masegi was named director of Safety & Chassis Systems Engineering Department 1 in 2002. In this position, Masegi helped design and develop sensors & ECU for the world's first pre-collision system and low-speed following system.

In June 2004, Masegi was named director of Safety & Chassis Systems Product Division and one of DENSO's executive directors. He was promoted to senior executive director in June 2010.
